Anyway. Well. Life Changes.
I am no longer in a pastry chef career. Hell, I've done a hilarious 180, or even a 540! This change happened in 2012 lol so late news XD
TL;DR version, I found myself loving the work but hating the business to the point it was seriously affecting me. So I had to take a deep look inside and figure out what I wanted.
So... I am now a student of Anthropology, a love I had long ago cast aside as being 'impractical' and choosing the culinary path (oh, hindsight!). My field of study is physical anthropology/osteology/bioarchae

Well, my grandfather died this morning. He was the last grandparent. It is a strange feeling, realizing you no longer have grandparents... I could ramble on about things on this note... but this is not the time or website for that.
Anyway. Sugar classes round 2 have started. This last weekend was mainly review and whatnot. I have a small "display" I need to finish attaching a few pieces to and then it may be worthy for posting here. However, this next weekend should be pretty epic! BLOWN sugar!!!!! Orbs, sci-fi flowers, and I don't know what else haha.
There will definitely be pictures of those!

Of course since I am in Ohio it is like 30*F today... thank you psycho weather...
Spring quarter starts Monday! I am taking Pastry/confectionary and then a business class and the last two stragglers of gen eds. A very easy quarter I hope. Only have school 3 days a week! I really need to get my rear in gear and get a job haha. I am letting all the home improvement stuff take over my life.
